Boils on Buttocks - A Real Pain
Boils on Buttocks are bacterial infections and are significantly different then the fungal infections that causes rashes and the viral infections such as herpes or fever blisters which are caused by sexual transmission. They show up tender red bumps. Boils on buttocks are very painful due to the pressure felt in the seating position. There is a danger of premature rupture if proper care is not taken. These boils generally get filled up with puss which is caused by the white blood cells fighting the bacteria. Drainage of puss at appropriate time heals it.

Do You Have a Pain in the Butt?
Although chiropractors are well known for their successful treatment of neck pain, headaches, and back pain, there are many other problems that they successfully treat. A common one is a chronic dull ache in the buttock region. The pain is usually only on one side and feels like it is originating from deep within the muscles and soft tissues.
The more a person sits, the worse it gets, and walking seems to help alleviate it temporary. When left untreated, the pain and/or numbness can travel downward to the hip, thigh, and even the foot. The clinical term for this problem is called "piriformis syndrome".
